Back in Estonia!

Hey you!
As you can already guess I  had been back in Estonia, this time only for 2 1/2 weeks. I am sorry I didn't write anything in such a long time.
I returned home to Germany in September after spending two wonderful warm summer months with my Estonian family. We went swimming a lot and picked a lot of blueberries and mushrooms. We made weekend trips to Finland and Latvia as well.
In the end of August my German family came to Estonia and I got the chance to show them around. It was really nice but also very weird, because the two worlds, which had been kind of seperated in my head the whole time, crashed into each other.
Back in Germany it took me while to get used to my old life. I missed Estonia so much, it was really hard to let go and to accept the fact that my exchange year is now over.
And now I am back! I was looking forward to this for so long, I was so emotional and happy in the plane.
It felt so incredibly good to hug my family again, it's like I never left.
I went to all my favourite places and also visited my old school. It was amazing to see everyone again and to have this exchangeyearfeeling all over again.Even though the weather was terrible (snow and rain and wind all the time) my family and I spent a wonderful time together. We went for a walk at the sea in the national park of Lahemaa, visited the new National Museum of Estonia in Tartu and stayed over at Grandmas.
During the last week I did an internship at the AHK in Tallinn, which allowed me a pretty interesting insight in the Estonian business world. And then it was time to leave again. It was hard to say goodbye, but now I know that I have really found a second home I can always return to. Eesti jääb alati minu südames ❤️
Throwback to last year
